Oklo Inc. (NYSE: OKLO), a company specializing in fast fission clean power technology and nuclear fuel recycling, has finalized a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Idaho Operations Office. This agreement allows Oklo to conduct site investigations at its preferred location in Idaho, advancing the next phase of site preparation and construction.
As the only advanced fission company with a DOE site use permit, significant regulatory progress, and a secured fuel supply, Oklo is well-positioned to deploy the first commercial advanced fission power plant in the U.S. The MOA enables geotechnical assessments, environmental surveys, and infrastructure planning at the Idaho site.
