Repsol operates the first industrial-scale plant in the Iberian Peninsula, located in Cartagena, which produces 100% renewable fuels with an annual capacity of 250,000 tonnes, including renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Looking ahead, a second plant in Puertollano is scheduled to begin operations in 2026, adding approximately 200,000 tonnes of renewable diesel annually for road and maritime transport.
