Having previously invested in a 280 kWp SolarEdge rooftop PV installation for its own facility, WG Solar Concept sought to further increase energy independence.
To achieve this goal, the company installed two CSS-OD storage systems to capture and store surplus solar electricity generated during the day. The combined solution is fully managed through SolarEdge’s ONE for C&I energy management platform, an advanced system that dynamically controls energy flows, prioritizes self-consumption, and ensures optimal system performance. The result has been a dramatic increase in on-site solar utilization, enabling WG Solar Concept to operate its facility with near-total energy self-sufficiency.

Rufle described how the addition of the CSS-OD took their sustainability efforts to the next level, seamlessly integrating with the existing PV system and enabling the company to meet 95% of its energy needs with solar power alone.
