Washington Launches FundHubWA for Climate and Clean Energy Funding

Washington has launched a new online funding portal, FundHubWA, aimed at helping individuals and organizations access funding for energy efficiency, clean energy, and climate resiliency projects. The portal connects users with federal and state grants, tax incentives, and rebates to support clean air, clean energy, and clean technology initiatives.

Accessible at FundHub.WA.gov, FundHubWA features a user-friendly database tailored for local governments, individuals, businesses, nonprofits, tribal governments, and public agencies. It tracks significant federal investments from the Inflation Reduction Act, CHIPS for America, and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, alongside Washington’s Climate Commitment Act, which funds climate resiliency programs, clean transportation, consumer rebates, and clean air initiatives.

“Historic investments are empowering Washington’s efforts to combat climate change, making it more affordable for communities to transition from fossil fuels,” said Gov. Jay Inslee. “We aim to ensure no one misses out on these opportunities due to lack of information. This portal provides an easy way to explore funding options for home, business, or community improvements.”

The database includes a variety of funding opportunities, such as electric vehicle rebates for low-income households, clean energy incentives for businesses, and planning and infrastructure grants for local governments and tribal authorities.

“With FundHubWA’s launch, it’s a perfect time to contribute to a cleaner and healthier Washington,” said Mike Fong, Director of the Washington State Department of Commerce. “We recognize that residents want to enhance their lives and communities, and our goal is to help them secure the necessary funding.”
