Nextpower Announces Expansion of Solar Product Portfolio for International Market

Nextpower Unveils Advanced Solar Technologies for Utility-Scale Projects

Nextpower, a leading provider of advanced solar and power technology solutions for utility-scale power plants, has announced the global launch of its redesigned NX Gemini™ two-in-portrait (2P) solar tracker system. The introduction of the upgraded tracker marks an important step in the company’s broader strategy to expand its portfolio of integrated solar solutions across Europe. Alongside the new tracker, Nextpower has also introduced NX Anchor™, an innovative integrated foundation system specifically co-engineered to complement its flagship NX Horizon® single-in-portrait (1P) solar tracker.

The company says these new technologies are designed to address the evolving needs of solar developers and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies as renewable energy deployment accelerates throughout Europe and other global markets.

Supporting Europe’s Rapid Renewable Energy Expansion

Europe’s transition toward cleaner energy sources continues to gain momentum as governments pursue ambitious renewable energy targets. However, the growing scale of solar deployment has introduced new challenges for developers, including increasingly complex permitting regulations, changing land-use priorities, diverse site conditions, and the rising adoption of agrivoltaic (agriPV) projects that combine agriculture with solar energy production.

To help customers overcome these challenges, Nextpower is expanding its integrated solar platform with a broader range of solutions. The company aims to provide high-density tracker systems, advanced foundation technologies, and intelligent software controls that can adapt to site-specific requirements while improving project efficiency and long-term operational performance.

Greater Flexibility for Complex European Projects

According to Yves Figuerola, General Manager of Nextpower Europe, today’s solar projects require more specialized solutions than ever before.

He explained that European solar developments increasingly face unique environmental and geological conditions, making flexibility in project design and construction essential. The introduction of both NX Anchor and the reimagined NX Gemini tracker is intended to provide developers with a more comprehensive set of technologies that improve construction efficiency while minimizing project risks.

Figuerola noted that many project sites across Europe present difficult soil and terrain conditions. By combining advanced foundation systems with flexible tracker technology, Nextpower aims to simplify installation while delivering the company’s proven digital controls and intelligent software platform across a wider range of project configurations.

Building on a Strong Global Deployment Record

Nextpower continues to strengthen its position in the global solar market through ongoing investment in integrated energy technologies. The company reports that more than 160 gigawatts (GW) of its solutions have already been deployed worldwide, with its presence in Europe continuing to grow.

Leveraging this extensive operational experience, Nextpower is expanding its product portfolio to streamline project execution while enabling solar development in locations that were previously considered more difficult due to site conditions. The company’s integrated approach focuses on combining structural, electrical, and digital innovations into a unified technology platform that enhances project reliability and long-term energy production.

Reimagined NX Gemini Tracker Designed for Improved Performance

The newly redesigned NX Gemini™ 2P solar tracker builds upon more than five years of operational experience with two-in-portrait tracking technology.

The upgraded system has been engineered to deliver improvements in overall performance, ease of construction, and cost efficiency. Nextpower has incorporated significant enhancements to its proven tracker controls and software architecture, enabling advanced capabilities such as row-level tracker control, improved network communications, intelligent weather response, and centralized monitoring across entire solar sites.

These digital enhancements allow operators to optimize tracker performance under varying environmental conditions while helping maximize long-term energy generation.

NX Anchor Foundation System Addresses Diverse Soil Conditions

Complementing the tracker launch is the introduction of NX Anchor™, an integrated foundation solution specifically engineered to support Europe’s diverse geotechnical environments.

The foundation system offers multiple pile configurations suitable for a wide variety of soil conditions, including soft soils, expansive ground, frost-prone regions, medium-density terrain, and mixed geological environments. Importantly, all pile types are designed for installation using commonly available construction equipment, helping contractors avoid specialized machinery and reducing project complexity.

Co-developed alongside the NX Horizon 1P tracker, NX Anchor enables higher tracker clearances while requiring significantly less embedment depth compared with conventional H-pile foundations. According to Nextpower, the system reduces embedment depth by as much as 70 percent, while also allowing installation to be completed up to 20 percent faster than traditional foundation methods.

Improving Construction Confidence and Reducing Risk

Figuerola described NX Anchor as an example of Nextpower’s commitment to system-level innovation rather than simply improving individual components.

He stated that the integrated foundation solution gives developers and EPC contractors greater confidence when constructing solar facilities on sites with variable soil conditions across Europe. By simplifying installation and reducing the likelihood of rework, NX Anchor helps accelerate project schedules while lowering construction risks and improving overall project economics.

Intelligent Controls Extend Across the Product Portfolio

Nextpower is also expanding its advanced digital capabilities across the new NX Gemini tracker platform.

The company will integrate its TrueCapture® advanced tracker control technology into the new system, allowing solar arrays to dynamically optimize positioning for increased energy production throughout the day.

In addition, operators will have access to agrivoltaic-specific operating modes through the NX Navigator™ monitoring and control software platform. These specialized operating modes are designed to support agricultural activities beneath solar installations while maintaining optimal energy generation.

Nextpower recently demonstrated these agrivoltaic innovations as part of its expanding agriPV solutions portfolio during an industry showcase in Rimini, Italy, highlighting the company’s continued investment in technologies that support both renewable energy production and sustainable agriculture.

Showcasing New Technologies at Intersolar Europe 2026

Nextpower will officially present its latest innovations during The Smarter E Europe and Intersolar Europe 2026 trade exhibition, scheduled to take place in Munich from June 23 to June 25.

Visitors attending the event can explore the new NX Gemini 2P tracker system, the NX Anchor integrated foundation solution, and the company’s broader portfolio of solar and energy storage technologies at Stand 580 in Hall A5. The exhibition will provide developers, EPC contractors, and industry professionals with an opportunity to learn more about how Nextpower’s integrated platform supports efficient project execution and reliable long-term operation.
