Silfab Solar, North America’s leading photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturer, has published its latest Sustainability Report, showcasing its commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and workplace health and safety across its North American operations.
The report outlines Silfab’s progress under its strategic plan to become the largest, most advanced, and most sustainable PV supplier in North America. Key achievements include fostering safe workplaces, strengthening community relationships, and advancing clean supply chains.

South Carolina Expansion
Silfab’s newest factory in South Carolina exemplifies its sustainability vision. The facility will feature 1 gigawatt of domestic solar cell production capacity and 1.3 gigawatts of PV module capacity, supported by low-carbon electricity. Advanced technologies and rigorous safety protocols ensure environmentally responsible operations.
The facility has been certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its emergency response plans and material handling procedures and confirmed by the Department of Energy (DoE) to meet National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance standards.
