PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. was honored with the Safety Management System and HIV/AIDS Handling & Prevention awards from the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower on September 24, 2024. The awards were presented by Muhammad Harir Khodari, acting head of the Jambi Manpower Agency, to the Jabung Field Management Representative.
PetroChina has previously won the Safety Management System award in 2017 and 2020, and the HIV Prevention award in 2022. This year, it was one of seven companies recognized for HIV/AIDS handling and one of 18 companies awarded for safety management.
The Safety Management System award acknowledges compliance with Government Regulation No. 50/2012 on the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. Before receiving the award, PetroChina underwent an audit conducted by SUCOFINDO, a certification body appointed by the Ministry of Manpower, from October 16 to 18, 2023. PetroChina met 166 criteria and achieved a score of 92.77%, earning the advanced “Gold Flag” level.
For the HIV/AIDS Handling and Prevention Program at the Workplace, PetroChina was recognized as one of seven companies with exemplary practices in managing and preventing HIV/AIDS in the workplace.
