Powur PBC, a leading platform-based company dedicated to simplifying access to clean solar energy, has announced a three-year exclusive partnership with ProLux Energy, a regional EPC operating in Illinois and Arizona. This collaboration will enable ProLux Energy to leverage Powur’s enterprise platform, enhancing its ability to streamline operations and concentrate on sales and leadership.
Cameron DeLoach, Founder and Owner of ProLux, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We have some of the best salespeople and leaders in the industry, and we are ready to support Powur’s vision and mission in every possible way. We’re going to take this industry to the next level.”
This partnership marks Powur’s second significant collaboration in recent months, following a similar agreement with Hawaii Unified. Powur’s enterprise platform integrates sales enablement and project fulfillment capabilities with essential administrative tools for solar contractors, reducing overhead costs and making solar businesses highly scalable. This allows companies like ProLux and Hawaii Unified to leverage their local expertise to better serve customers and expand their operations.
The solar market presents substantial growth opportunities, especially with Powur’s decentralized low-overhead model, which enhances efficiency and reduces costs amid rising interest rates and changing regulations. ProLux has already experienced significant growth earlier this year by merging with SolarShips Installation Services, consolidating its sales and installation capabilities in Illinois.
Nate Butterfield, owner of ProLux, noted, “Our partnership with SolarShips led to explosive growth because we could control the entire process. However, we discovered scalability limits that this new partnership with Powur will address.”
DeLoach added, “Powur can handle all the tasks that kept us glued to our screens, allowing us to focus on what we do best: driving sales and revenue while maintaining control over the entire process.”
Powur’s platform enables contractors to efficiently grow their sales teams, streamline operations, and significantly enhance profitability. Many regional contractors face challenges in expanding their market share due to the extensive financial and expertise requirements involved in sales, financing, procurement, and storage. Powur bridges these gaps, providing contractors with the flexibility to choose which aspects of the platform to utilize. For instance, an installer can opt for Powur’s sales team or use their own, conduct site surveys independently, or connect with a site surveyor through Powur.
Powur CEO Jonathan Budd anticipates further partnerships in the near future, stating, “We expect the best regional EPCs in every market to join forces with our exceptional platform, all aligned on our direction.”
