Excelerate Energy, Inc. (NYSE: EE), a leading provider of floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) solutions, has formed a strategic partnership with PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), a subsidiary of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam). This collaboration aims to explore FSRU-based technical solutions for LNG imports into Vietnam.
Through this alliance, Excelerate and PTSC will combine their expertise and resources to provide affordable and reliable energy solutions, addressing Vietnam’s increasing energy demands while supporting the nation’s transition to carbon neutrality.
The partnership involves conducting joint feasibility studies to evaluate the potential of FSRU opportunities in Vietnam. These studies will focus on optimizing the existing natural gas infrastructure and enhancing domestic supply with regasified LNG to meet growing demand and foster the development of a regional gas market.
