Cantor Fitzgerald and Lincoln Energy Launch U.S. Oil and Gas Investment Fund

Cantor Fitzgerald Asset Management (CFAM), the asset management division of global financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P., has partnered with Colorado-based Lincoln Energy Partners to launch the Cantor Fitzgerald Energy Fund. The new investment vehicle is designed to provide investors with access to the U.S. oil and gas sector through a diversified portfolio of energy assets, with an emphasis on generating current income and maximizing risk-adjusted total returns.

The Cantor Fitzgerald Energy Fund is structured as a publicly registered, continuously offered interval fund. Investors can access the fund through four share classes listed under the tickers CNRAX, CNRCX, CNRGX, and CNRSX. The fund primarily invests in U.S. oil and gas interests, including non-operated working interests, providing exposure to domestic energy production without requiring investors to manage energy assets directly.

CFAM and Lincoln believe the fund’s structure and investment strategy offer an alternative approach to accessing the energy sector. By combining specialized oil and gas investment expertise with an established asset management and distribution platform, the partners aim to make investments traditionally associated with institutional portfolios available to a broader investor base.

Diversified Exposure to U.S. Energy Production

As of October 26, 2026, the Cantor Fitzgerald Energy Fund held a diversified portfolio encompassing approximately 3,000 wells and more than 200 operators across key U.S. energy-producing basins. The portfolio provides exposure to oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids, offering investors participation in multiple segments of the domestic hydrocarbon market.

The fund focuses primarily on non-operated working interests. Under this investment approach, investors obtain an economic interest in oil and gas production without assuming responsibility for operating the underlying wells. Operational activities are generally managed by third-party operators, allowing the fund to access production-related cash flows while relying on established industry participants to conduct day-to-day operations.

This strategy builds on an investment approach previously implemented by Lincoln through a private predecessor investment vehicle. That vehicle began operations on February 15, 2022, and was subsequently merged into the Cantor Fitzgerald Energy Fund through a tax-free reorganization completed in October 2026.

According to the companies, the reorganization established one of the first funds registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, commonly known as a ’40 Act fund, to provide investors with direct access to this specialized energy asset class. The transaction also brought the existing investment strategy into a publicly registered fund structure supported by Cantor Fitzgerald’s asset management platform.

The combined structure is intended to provide investors with access to an established portfolio and an investment approach focused on U.S. energy production. Its diversified holdings across wells, operators, and hydrocarbon products also provide exposure to different areas of the domestic oil and gas industry.

Cantor Fitzgerald Expands Alternative Investment Offerings

Bill Ferri, Global Head of Asset Management at Cantor Fitzgerald, said the fund’s launch comes at an important time for the U.S. energy sector. He highlighted the complementary capabilities of Cantor Fitzgerald and Lincoln Energy Partners, particularly Lincoln’s expertise in domestic oil and gas investments, disciplined underwriting, and focus on non-operated assets.

Ferri said the partnership combines Lincoln’s specialized energy investment capabilities with Cantor Fitzgerald’s alternative investment platform. The companies believe this combination can help investors participate in the changing U.S. energy landscape and access opportunities associated with domestic oil and gas production.

The launch also reflects Cantor Fitzgerald’s efforts to expand its alternative investment offerings through strategies that connect investors with specialized asset classes. By incorporating energy interests into a registered investment fund, the company aims to provide a structured investment option for individuals and other eligible investors seeking exposure to the sector.

The fund is advised by Cantor Fitzgerald Energy Advisors, LLC, an investment adviser registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The advisory business operates as a specialized joint venture that combines Cantor Fitzgerald’s institutional portfolio management capabilities, distribution network, organizational scale, and established financial services platform with Lincoln Energy Partners’ experience in energy investing and operations.

This arrangement brings together financial services expertise and specialized knowledge of the oil and gas industry. The partners believe the combination supports the management of an investment strategy centered on producing energy assets and generating income from underlying investments.

Fund Structure Offers Investor Access and Liquidity Features

The Cantor Fitzgerald Energy Fund includes several features designed to provide investors with access to an investment strategy that has historically been more commonly associated with institutional investors.

These features include daily net asset value (NAV) pricing, monthly distributions, quarterly liquidity through repurchase offers, and simplified tax reporting using Form 1099. Together, these provisions are intended to provide investors with regular information about the fund’s value, potential periodic income, and scheduled opportunities to request the repurchase of their shares.

The interval fund structure differs from traditional publicly traded investment funds because liquidity is generally provided through periodic repurchase offers rather than continuous trading on an exchange. Although the fund offers quarterly repurchase opportunities, investors should understand that repurchases are subject to the fund’s terms and conditions and may be limited. Shares should not be considered equivalent to cash or investments that can necessarily be sold whenever an investor chooses.

Monthly distributions are another component of the fund’s design, supporting its emphasis on current income. However, distributions are not guaranteed, and actual returns will depend on the fund’s investment performance, operating expenses, market conditions, and other relevant factors.

Through its portfolio of non-operated interests, the fund seeks to participate in economic activity generated by U.S. oil and gas production. Performance may be influenced by commodity prices, production volumes, operating costs, and developments affecting the broader energy industry.

Lincoln Energy Partners Sees Opportunity in Domestic Oil and Gas

Craig Brede, Managing Partner at Lincoln Energy Partners, said the company is pleased to collaborate with Cantor Fitzgerald to make its investment strategy available to a broader group of investors.

Brede pointed to the fundamentals of the U.S. oil and gas sector and said non-operated assets can provide an opportunity to access cash flows generated at the project level. He also emphasized Cantor Fitzgerald’s distribution capabilities, organizational scale, and experience introducing alternative investment strategies to wealth management channels.

The partnership is intended to combine Lincoln’s specialized understanding of energy assets with Cantor Fitzgerald’s ability to distribute investment products and manage institutional-quality strategies. This approach could broaden access to oil and gas investments while retaining a focus on the underlying economics of energy production.

The fund’s diversified portfolio and registered structure distinguish its approach from direct ownership of individual oil and gas interests. Instead of acquiring and managing wells independently, investors gain exposure through a professionally managed vehicle that holds interests across multiple operators and producing assets.

With the Cantor Fitzgerald Energy Fund now launched, CFAM and Lincoln Energy Partners are positioning their collaboration to serve investors interested in U.S. energy production and income-oriented alternative investments. The fund’s future performance will depend on its portfolio holdings, energy market conditions, and execution of its investment strategy.
