Otovo and InCharge Expand U.S. Energy Service Partnership
Otovo ASA (Euronext Oslo Børs: OTOVO), a provider of behind-the-meter energy services for homes and businesses, has announced a new service partnership with InCharge Energy, a national provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging installation and maintenance services. The collaboration brings together complementary service capabilities covering solar power, battery energy storage and EV charging infrastructure for commercial customers across key U.S. markets.
Through the partnership, Otovo and InCharge will make each company’s preventive maintenance plans available through the other’s service network. Each provider will continue deploying its own technicians and operating under its respective brand, while the collaboration expands the geographic reach and technical capabilities available to customers.
The companies collectively support more than 100,000 energy assets, creating an opportunity to provide commercial customers with a more unified approach to maintaining multiple energy technologies at the same site. Instead of managing separate service relationships for solar installations, battery systems and EV charging equipment, customers will have access to a broader portfolio of maintenance capabilities through the partnership.
A key element of the collaboration is Otovo’s Endurance™ artificial intelligence platform. The technology will be used to coordinate shared service activity, allowing work originating with either company to be logged, dispatched and closed against a single record for the customer site. The system is intended to improve visibility across service activities while allowing both companies to retain their individual brands and customer relationships.

InCharge Energy CEO Rich Mohr emphasized the importance of combining digital capabilities with field-service expertise as commercial energy infrastructure becomes increasingly complex.

Mohr added that the companies will use InCharge’s InControl™ platform alongside Otovo’s Endurance™ technology to provide field teams with greater asset intelligence. The companies expect the combined capabilities to support a more proactive approach to managing and maintaining EV charging infrastructure, solar generation, battery storage and associated electrical equipment.
The partnership builds on established operational scale at both companies. Otovo currently services more than 60,000 customers, while InCharge’s InControl software platform connects and supports more than 40,000 EV charging assets across more than 1,060 completed infrastructure projects.
InCharge also reported substantial service activity during 2025. Its team completed more than 24,000 support cases during the year, with approximately 80% of charger issues resolved remotely. The company said its InControl platform maintained 99.99% uptime, supporting monitoring and management of connected EV charging infrastructure.
The companies also bring extensive geographic coverage to the partnership. InCharge’s network extends across every U.S. state and Canadian province, supported by regional sales and service offices in Los Angeles, California; Richmond, Virginia; and Fort Worth, Texas. More than 100 field service personnel are part of the company’s network, providing a foundation for the planned expansion of the collaboration into additional markets.
Under the partnership structure, work orders will be transferred directly between Otovo and InCharge. On the Otovo side, Endurance™ will manage intake, dispatch and scheduling activities. Each company will also act as a reseller of the other company’s preventive maintenance plans in the initial launch geographies.
Although the companies will cooperate on service delivery and maintenance offerings, each will continue to manage its own customer relationships. Pricing for the reciprocal preventive maintenance plans will be matched between the two providers.
The agreement addresses an increasingly common challenge for commercial properties deploying multiple energy technologies. A facility may have rooftop solar generation, battery storage, EV charging stations and backup generation installed as part of separate projects or supplied by different vendors. Historically, each system could require an individual maintenance agreement, service response commitment and point of contact.
As commercial energy infrastructure becomes more interconnected, the ability to coordinate maintenance across multiple asset types can become increasingly important. Solar arrays, battery systems, charging equipment and supporting electrical infrastructure may operate together as part of a broader energy system, making service coordination a practical consideration for businesses seeking to maintain reliability.
The Otovo-InCharge partnership is designed to address that need by combining established field-service networks with digital asset-management capabilities. Customers can continue working with the provider they know while gaining access to additional maintenance services through the partner network.
For Otovo, the agreement expands the potential application of its Endurance™ platform beyond its existing service operations. For InCharge, the collaboration adds access to complementary solar and battery storage maintenance capabilities alongside its established EV charging expertise.
As commercial customers continue deploying combinations of distributed energy resources and EV infrastructure, the two companies intend to use their combined service capabilities to support maintenance across a wider range of energy assets and expand the partnership into additional U.S. markets.
