The proposed project, referred to as the DJ South Gathering Pipeline, is designed to gather and transport crude oil from receipt locations in Arapahoe County, Colorado, to major delivery hubs at the Platteville Complex and Lucerne Station in Weld County, Colorado. The development is expected to strengthen regional takeaway capacity, improve operational efficiency for producers, and provide additional transportation flexibility within one of the country’s most active oil and gas basins.
According to the company, the proposed pipeline system will combine newly constructed pipeline segments with historically underutilized capacity already available within Transporter’s existing trunk line network. By leveraging existing infrastructure while adding strategic new pipeline construction, Elevation Midstream aims to optimize capital efficiency and accelerate development timelines while minimizing environmental and operational impacts often associated with entirely greenfield projects.

The open season officially commenced at 8:00 a.m. Central Time on May 20, 2026, and will continue through 5:00 p.m. Central Time on June 22, 2026.
During this period, crude oil producers, marketers, and other interested parties will have the opportunity to negotiate and execute long-term transportation service agreements that provide access to gathering and transportation capacity on the proposed pipeline. Binding commitments secured during the open season are expected to play a central role in supporting the final development and financing structure of the project.
Under the terms outlined by Transporter, interested shippers must complete and execute a transportation services agreement, commonly referred to as a TSA, and submit the required documentation before the close of the open season period. The company noted that the initial form of the TSA will be made available to qualified participants following the execution of a confidentiality agreement acceptable to Transporter.
The confidentiality process is designed to ensure that commercially sensitive project details, commercial terms, tariff structures, and operational information are shared only with authorized participants evaluating potential commitments to the system. Interested parties may request a form of the confidentiality agreement directly from the company.
