Chubu Electric Power is pleased to announce that we have selected a proposal that was submitted in response to a public call for research proposals on nuclear power set to start in FY2023.
From December 16, 2022 to January 10, 2023, Chubu Electric Power called for research topics to introduce fresh perspectives in finding a wide range of technologies to further improve the safety and operations at Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station. (Press release issued on November 14, 2022)
A total of 34 themes were submitted from across the nation. Ten research themes have been subsequently chosen through a screening process involving an advisory committee of external academics and experts.
