Tigo TS4 Devices Certified for Haier Inverters

Tigo Energy and Haier Energy Achieve Compatibility Certification to Advance Smarter, Integrated Solar Solutions Across Europe

Tigo Energy, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent solar and energy software solutions, has officially announced the certification of compatibility between its Tigo TS4 Flex MLPE (Module Level Power Electronics) device family and hybrid solar inverters from Haier Energy. This landmark certification solidifies the seamless integration of Tigo’s advanced optimization and monitoring technology with Haier’s robust single-phase and three-phase inverters, providing solar installers and homeowners with a high-performance, efficient, and flexible solar energy system.

Advancing Integration in Residential Solar Technology

The certification signifies that when properly designed and installed, certain models from the Haier Energy inverter lineup are fully compatible with Tigo’s TS4 Flex MLPE devices. This includes a range of applications from small residential rooftops to larger multi-phase systems, allowing installers to deliver optimal energy output while also ensuring safer operations and detailed module-level monitoring. The combined solution aims to bring more value and performance to residential solar systems by simplifying system design and enhancing compatibility across components.

By bringing together Tigo’s MLPE technology—known for features such as optimization, rapid shutdown, and module-level diagnostics—with Haier Energy’s hybrid inverter capabilities, the two companies are providing an integrated solar-plus-storage experience tailored to modern residential energy demands. The hybrid inverter platform from Haier supports not only solar PV but also battery storage and smart energy management, aligning well with Tigo’s product philosophy of flexibility and intelligent system design.

Strengthening Partnerships for the European Solar Market

Haier Energy and Tigo Energy are launching this compatibility certification at a pivotal time for the European solar market. Countries like Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Switzerland—all of which rank in the top 10 for solar capacity per capita in the EU—are experiencing sustained growth in residential solar adoption due to supportive national policies such as the EU’s National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) and the Social Climate Fund. These frameworks aim to promote clean energy adoption, reduce emissions, and make the transition affordable for consumers.

To further support local installers and partners, Tigo and Haier will co-host a webinar series tailored to professionals in these countries. The webinars will be conducted in English, German, and Italian, ensuring that a broad range of European installers can gain insights into the technical integration, design considerations, and installation best practices when combining Tigo TS4 devices with Haier hybrid inverters.

Federica Cona, European Product Manager at Haier Energy, emphasized the strategic significance of this collaboration:

“We are very proud to share the compatibility with a trusted partner like Tigo Energy. This collaboration completes our technical product range and gives installers the flexibility to use our solutions across all plant conditions with full adaptability.”

Delivering Interoperability and Streamlined Performance

At the core of this collaboration is a shared belief in open, interoperable systems. Unlike proprietary platforms that can lock customers into specific ecosystems, the Tigo-Haier compatibility allows for greater freedom of choice, easier upgrades, and faster deployment.

“True value in connected energy systems comes from effortless communication between components,” said Gal Bauer, Senior Director of Validation, Growth, and Product Management at Tigo Energy. “This certification not only ensures streamlined installation and performance but also gives homeowners a smarter energy experience. It’s another clear demonstration of how openness and interoperability can simplify solar and accelerate the energy transition.”

Tigo’s TS4 platform is recognized for its modular architecture, which lets installers tailor the system’s functionality on a per-module basis—whether it’s for optimization to combat shading, rapid shutdown compliance, or advanced monitoring. This flexibility pairs naturally with Haier’s intelligent hybrid inverters, which are designed to accommodate future energy expansions like battery storage and EV charging integration.

Enabling Smarter Energy for European Homeowners

With energy prices fluctuating and climate goals becoming more urgent, European homeowners are seeking intelligent, future-proof energy solutions. The compatibility between Tigo’s TS4 devices and Haier’s hybrid inverters addresses this demand by offering a system that not only reduces energy bills but also enhances safety and resilience.

Consumers benefit from a range of advanced features, including:

  • Module-Level Monitoring: Real-time insights into the performance of each solar panel.
  • Optimization: Ensures maximum energy harvest, even in shaded or uneven conditions.
  • Rapid Shutdown Compliance: Enhances system safety by de-energizing panels during emergencies.
  • Hybrid Integration: Allows smooth coupling with battery storage systems for increased energy independence.
