Tigo Energy Launches UK Installer ESS Training Tour, Building on Optimizer Success

Tigo Energy Launches UK Installer Training Roadshow to Boost Optimizer Adoption

Tigo Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: TYGO) (“Tigo”), a leading provider of intelligent solar and energy software solutions, has announced a UK-focused training roadshow aimed at empowering solar installers with hands-on expertise in energy storage and optimization. Dubbed the golf-themed Tigo Hole-in-One Tour, the three-stop series will take place in Glasgow, Rugby, and Bristol from November 3 to 6, 2025, offering UK installers practical training on Tigo’s advanced solar solutions. The initiative comes amid a surge in the adoption of Tigo’s TS4 Flex MLPE (Module Level Power Electronics) product family by installers seeking safer, monitored, and more efficient solar systems.

The UK solar market has experienced rapid growth, surpassing 2GW of operational capacity in 2025 alone, making it one of Tigo’s fastest-growing European markets. This expansion has been driven in part by the Ofgem ECO4 program’s emphasis on solar monitoring and by the performance improvements enabled through Tigo’s innovations. Installers are increasingly deploying TS4 MLPE devices that maximize energy output through optimization technologies and enable remote monitoring via Tigo Access Point (TAP) and Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA). Of the tens of thousands of monitored Tigo installations in the UK, over 75% have been deployed in the past five years, highlighting the accelerating adoption of Tigo solutions.

In response to this momentum, Tigo is increasing its local support, business, and training resources, starting with the Hole-in-One Tour. The roadshow is designed to provide installers with direct access to Tigo experts, deep technical insights, and practical hands-on experience to help them maximize the benefits of Tigo products.

“We have relied on Tigo optimizers for years because of their performance in UK conditions, which often include suboptimal module orientations and intermittent cloud shading,” said Anthony Dixey, CEO at AWD Electrical Ltd T/A Economy Energy Group. “These new training sessions will allow us to explore the Tigo EI Residential Solution in detail and interact directly with the Tigo team. It’s encouraging to see a solar equipment manufacturer investing in installers and making hands-on learning accessible.”

Each session will include detailed product training, system design guidance, and live demonstrations of the Tigo EI Residential Solution, an all-in-one platform that integrates inverter, battery, and optimization technologies. This solution simplifies installation, enables intelligent energy management, and provides reliable backup power for multiple household loads.

The training will also focus on Tigo TS4-A-O MLPE devices, which deliver advanced module-level monitoring, increased energy harvesting through optimization, and enhanced power handling to support high-current solar modules. TS4-A-O models accommodate solar modules up to 700W, with a maximum short-circuit current of 20A and maximum input voltage of 80V per module. Fully backward-compatible with other TS4 products, these devices are certified to work with hundreds of inverter models, providing installers with flexible, high-performance options for a wide range of projects.

“With hundreds of thousands of monitoring-enabled Tigo MLPE devices deployed across the UK, it is essential that our growing network of installer partners has access to hands-on training and support,” said Mirko Bindi, Senior VP Sales EMEA & MD Europe at Tigo Energy. “Installers are at the heart of our global growth, and this UK training tour underscores our ongoing investment in training, personnel, and support for the installer community. By equipping them with the knowledge and skills to deploy complete Tigo-optimized Energy Storage Systems, we are helping our partners deliver maximum energy production and system reliability to their customers.”

The Hole-in-One Tour marks a significant step in Tigo’s commitment to the UK market, where innovation, optimization, and monitoring are increasingly essential for residential and commercial solar deployments. With a focus on practical, hands-on learning, the tour promises to enhance installer capabilities and support the continued expansion of Tigo-enabled solar systems across the region.
