Under Crane’s direction, the Revolution project’s mural was applied across twenty-two panels on the western-facing side of the battery modules, with an additional panel installed on the south-facing side.
One of the critical challenges of integrating art with functional energy infrastructure is ensuring that the aesthetic enhancements do not interfere with operational efficiency or safety. Spearmint worked closely with the battery system manufacturer to ensure that the installation met all safety and performance standards. The company took meticulous steps to guarantee that the mural would not affect airflow, temperature regulation, or other critical aspects of battery operation.
