Spearmint Energy, a leading company in the renewable energy sector specializing in battery energy storage, has partnered with Sungrow USA Corporation, a top global supplier of inverters and energy storage solutions. The collaboration will see the deployment of over 1 GWh of additional energy storage capacity across Spearmint’s Texas projects by 2025.

The new projects will feature Sungrow’s PowerTitan 2.0, an advanced energy storage system known for its scalable design and superior fire suppression capabilities, including cutting-edge liquid-cooling technology. This system is designed to perform optimally in challenging environments—such as high humidity, dusty deserts, or elevated locations—and is engineered to reduce auxiliary power consumption.

This new agreement builds on the success of Spearmint’s first project with Sungrow, Revolution—a 150 MW, 300 MWh BESS installation located in Crane, Texas. Revolution employs Sungrow’s PowerTitan Series and includes 134 battery containers with 6,432 battery modules.
