Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has officially opened a state-of-the-art 130,000 square-foot distribution centre in Halton Hills, Ontario, marking a major step in strengthening its Canadian operations. The investment reflects the company’s commitment to delivering faster, more reliable service across Canada while advancing sustainable energy solutions nationwide.
Strategically located at 6 Cleve Court in Georgetown, the Halton Hills facility is designed to serve a diverse range of customers, spanning commercial, industrial, residential, and infrastructure sectors. The centre, operated in partnership with CEVA Logistics, enhances Schneider Electric’s ability to deliver critical electrical components and equipment with speed and efficiency, supporting both local businesses and national energy infrastructure initiatives.
A key feature of the new facility is its integration of advanced technology. The Halton Hills centre is among the first of CEVA Logistics’ global locations to deploy Manhattan Associates’ Active® Warehouse Management and Order Management systems. These platforms enable seamless integration of new technologies, accelerating operational efficiency and strengthening supply chain resilience. By leveraging these systems, Schneider Electric ensures that its distribution processes are not only faster but also more accurate, flexible, and capable of adapting to the dynamic needs of Canadian customers.
