The board of directors of Phillips 66 (NYSE: PSX) has announced the appointment of Grace Puma Whiteford as a member, effective October 10. She will serve on both the Human Resources and Compensation Committee and the Public Policy and Sustainability Committee.

Puma Whiteford currently serves on the boards of Target Corporation and Organon & Co., having previously been a board member at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. She retired in 2022 as executive vice president and chief operations officer at PepsiCo, where she oversaw global operations, procurement, employee health and safety, global security, and cost management. Her prior roles include senior vice president, chief supply officer, and global chief procurement officer at PepsiCo, as well as senior vice president and global chief procurement officer at United Airlines.
Recognized for her leadership, Puma Whiteford was featured on Fortune magazine’s Most Powerful Latina list in 2017, 2018, and 2019, and she was inducted into the inaugural Most Powerful Latinas Hall of Fame by the Association of Latino Professionals in 2021.
With her addition, the Phillips 66 board now comprises 14 directors, 13 of whom are independent.
