PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. has been honored with the SKK Migas Award 2024 for Assurance and Consulting Excellence. The award was presented to Jin Lihao, VP of Finance at PetroChina, by SKK Migas Internal Supervisor Eko Indra Heri during a ceremony held at the Intercontinental Jakarta Pondok Indah Hotel on September 10, 2024.
This event celebrated SKK Migas’ 22 years of overseeing upstream oil and gas operations in Indonesia. The awards recognized oil and gas companies for their contributions towards achieving the Indonesian government’s ambitious targets of 1 million barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 12 billion standard cubic feet per day (BSCFD) of gas by 2030.
The Assurance and Consulting Excellence (ACE) Award is given to Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) that excel in implementing assurance and consulting principles. It aims to incentivize PSCs to enhance their Internal Audit functions, promoting independent assurance and valuable advisory roles. Criteria for the ACE Award include adherence to international professional standards, contributions to achieving IOG 4.0 targets, SKK Migas’ KPIs, and innovations in strengthening Internal Audit functions.
In his speech, SKK Migas head Dwi Soetjipto praised the award recipients for their dedication and efforts in advancing national oil and gas production goals. He expressed appreciation for the PSCs’ innovative approaches to improving production and operational cost efficiency.
