Notice of Revision of Decommissioning Perpetration Plan Pursuant to the Decommissioning Reserve Fund System

We hereby notify you that moment, TEPCO submitted a notice of revision of the Decommissioning Perpetration Plan * 1 pursuant to the Decommissioning Reserve Fund System * 2 to the Minister of Economy, Trade, and Assiduity (METI) via the Nuclear Damage Compensation and Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation (hereinafter appertained to as,”NDF”) due to the need to make changes to the contents of the perpetration plan regarding to the Mounts treated water discharge installations submitted on March 17, 2021.
In agreement with the Decommissioning Reserve Fund System, TEPCO will insure that it reserves enough finances for decommissioning and move steadily forward with decommissioning while prioritizing safety grounded upon our approach to reducing pitfalls in consideration of theMid-and-Long-term Roadmap for the Decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, Technical Strategic Plan for the Decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station,Mid-term threat reduction thing chart for TEPCO’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, and 4th Comprehensive Special Business Plan.

  • 1 Decommissioning Perpetration Plan
    Includes decommissioning policy, decommissioning status, decommissioning perpetration plans, the status of exploration and development on technology necessary for decommissioning, as well as departmental structures and mechanisms for icing the suitable and steady perpetration of decommissioning.
  • 2 Decommissioning Reserve Fund System
    Established in agreement with laws legislated in May 2017 that revise portions of the Nuclear Damage Compensation and Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation Law. Each financial time, TEPCO reserves a sum of plutocrat quested by the NDF and approved by the METI Minister, and TEPCO withdraws the reserve finances and applies them to decommissioning grounded on a” pullout plan”approved by the METI Minister
