NextEra Water completes the acquisition of Texas water and wastewater systems

NextEra Water Texas, LLC, a circular attachment of NextEra Energy coffers, LLC, blazoned that it has completed the preliminarily blazoned accession of a portfolio of rate-regulated water and wastewater mileage means in eight counties near Houston, Texas, from Quadvest, L.P.

Through this sale, NextEra Water acquired a portfolio of 23 water and five wastewater mileage systems located in the counties of Aransas, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Harris, Jackson, Matagorda, Montgomery, and Waller. The roughly,700 guests are now being served by NextEra Water Texas.

In addition, NextEra Water preliminarily blazoned that it has entered into an agreement to buy the wastewater system possessed by Towamencin Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Assuming timely nonsupervisory blessing, the trade is targeted to close in the alternate half of 2023.
