NextEra Energy announces settlement rate for corporate units issued in September 2019

NextEra Energy,Inc.( NYSE NEE) moment blazoned the agreement rate for the stock purchase contracts that are factors of commercial units( NYSE NEE PRO) that it issued in September 2019. Holders of the commercial units will admit0.7212 shares of NextEra Energy common stock for each stock purchase contract that they hold, with cash to be paid in lieu of any fractional shares. The agreement rate is grounded upon the normal ending price per share of NextEra Energy common stock on the New York Stock Exchange for the 20 successive trading days ending on Aug. 29, 2022.

Accordingly, onSept. 1, 2022, each holder of the commercial units on that date will, following payment of$50.00 for each unit which it holds, admit0.7212 shares of NextEra Energy common stock for each similar unit. The holders’ scores to make similar payments will be satisfied with proceeds generated by the successful remarketing onAug. 5, 2022, of the NextEra Energy Capital effects, Inc. debentures that formerly constituted an element of the commercial units.
Upon agreement of all outstanding stock purchase contracts, NextEra Energy will admit$1.5 billion in exchange for roughly21.64 million shares of common stock.

OnSept. 1, 2022, each commercial unit holder of record on Aug. 31, 2022, will admit the final daily cash distribution of$0.609 outstanding per commercial unit. In addition, holders of commercial units as of Sept. 1, 2022, will admit the remaining quantities from the remarketing described over.
