Gridspertise and the Hera Group launch collaboration for the smart grid of the unborn

Gridspertise, the Enel Group’s attachment devoted to the digital metamorphosis of electricity grids, and the Hera Group, one of Italy’s largestmulti-utilities, have inked a collaboration agreement aimed at developing the smart grids of the future through a state-of-the- art integrated system for the collection and dimension of data from their separate networks in amulti-utility terrain.
The two companies are thus combining the know-how they’ve developed in their colorful areas of moxie to achieve specialized solidarity in the field of network digitalization. The results of this collaboration may be of interest tomulti-utility companies also abroad, therefore projecting the technological excellence conceived and developed in our country on transnational requests.

In particular, the agreement provides for the testing of an integrated data collection system used by the Hera Group’s gas bias and Gridspertise’s smart measures for electric networks. The integration tests in the gas-electricity multiservice area will be carried out in Italy on the network managed by Inrete Distribuzione Energia, the natural gas and electricity distribution company of the Hera Group.
The Hera Group will be suitable to calculate, in particular, on its experience in the field of smart gas measures, which has led it to patent the NexMeter advanced cadence, the stylish of its kind at transnational position for its slice- edge technology and safety functions, also in terms of reducing gas dissipation into the atmosphere.

Gridspertise will put its most innovative results for intertwined dimension data operation at the service of the development of new smart and sustainable grids to accelerate the digital metamorphosis of electricity structure rudiments.
In particular, in recent months the company has concluded agreements with the Hera Group for the force of smart measures and concentrators, as well as an innovative remote operation system that will be used in the trial.

The result is a package of network operation results using the energy transition as a crucial element.
Grounded on the results of the trial, the two companies will consider common participation in unborn tenders, also including those held outside the public home, in which the trade of tackle and software results for gas and electricity metering will be imaged.
At a after stage, this collaboration may also extend to results concerning the intertwined water cycle, both in terms of dimension and smart water grids.
