EDF Renewables UK enters new cooperation for Blyth coastal wind ranch in north east EnglandEDF Renewables UK is drinking a new mate for its Blyth coastal wind ranch in north east England. Malaysian mileage Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), via its wholly possessed attachment, Vantage RE Ltd (Vantage Shaft) now owns 49 of the shares of the Blyth Offshore Demonstrator Limited (BODL). It’s the largest electricity mileage in Malaysia with a presence in the UK amongst other countries.

EDF Renewables UK remains the maturity shareholder and owns a 51 share in BODL which includes the being41.5 MW wind ranch and the development rights for the new Blyth floating coastal wind ranch design which will have a capacity of over to58.4 MW.
EDF Renewables will also continue to give asset operation services to the being functional wind ranch and to lead the development of the floating coastal design.

Community Benefit fund arrangements remain unchanged.
EDF Renewables UK CEO Matthieu Hue said “ Blyth is an innovative point which allows us to experiment with new technologies in coastal wind energy and we’re veritably happy to start a cooperation with Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
