Audubon Engineering Company (Audubon), a leading provider of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions, has secured a contract for bp’s Kaskida project in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. Audubon will handle the topside engineering and design for the Kaskida floating production unit (FPU), utilizing its proven design philosophies to expedite project timelines.
Audubon will draw on its extensive experience—demonstrated in the successful Delta House, King’s Quay, and Shenandoah semisubmersibles—to design the Kaskida topside, focusing on smart design and precise execution.
Terry Mienie, Audubon’s Executive Vice President of Offshore, expressed enthusiasm for the project: “Our engineering team brings decades of experience in designing and delivering exceptional offshore platforms. We are excited to work with bp, leveraging our topside expertise to develop Kaskida optimally and safely.”
David Robison, Audubon’s CEO, added, “Our team is thrilled to be part of the Kaskida project. This is a significant opportunity for Audubon to demonstrate our engineering excellence and agility on one of the most important oil and gas developments in U.S. history. We are committed to delivering quality results and are eager to support bp’s production goals in the Gulf of Mexico.”
Engineering work for the Kaskida FPU is already underway, with Audubon leading the topside design and EXMAR Offshore handling the hull design.
