GoldenPeaks Capital, a leading independent power producer in Eastern Europe, has partnered with AB CarVal, a global credit fund within AllianceBernstein’s Private Alternatives business, to establish a unique junior financing facility. This collaboration will support GoldenPeaks Capital in acquiring and constructing solar photovoltaic assets in Poland.
The flexible debt facility provided by HoldCo will enable GoldenPeaks Capital to accelerate its portfolio development by bridging the gap between acquisition financing and construction capital before securing project finance debt. This funding has already facilitated the acquisition of solar projects totaling over 220 MW in Poland.
The financing is a crucial component of GoldenPeaks Capital’s strategy to build more than 1 GW of solar capacity annually in Poland.
