The Gazprom Management Committee reviewed progress on gas supply and infrastructure expansion programs across Russian regions in 2024. Efforts continue to connect previously unserved localities, including completion of inter-settlement gas pipelines to villages in Kabardino-Balkaria, Rostov, and Volgograd regions, benefiting approximately 650 households.
Intra-settlement pipelines were laid in 14 locations spanning Ivanovo, Kurgan, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Rostov, Sakhalin, Ulyanovsk, Vladimir regions, and Mari El Republic, enabling gas connections for over 1,000 households and four boiler houses.
Design work has advanced for three gas pipeline branches, gas distribution stations, and 52 inter-settlement and intra-settlement pipelines. Additional gas grid expansion is underway in already covered settlements, extending pipelines to private households, medical facilities, and educational institutions at no cost to consumers, in alignment with directives from President Vladimir Putin.
Technical capability for additional gas grid access has been provided to 1.237 million households within existing network areas, with over 978,000 households already connected through existing contracts. Gazprom Group entities have performed about 75% of the work.
Contracts have been signed with 674 medical and educational entities, with 350 contracts fulfilled to date. Applications for further gas infrastructure expansion can be submitted via the Public Services Portal, Single Operator’s website (connectgas.ru), Gazprom Mezhregiongaz client centers, mobile offices, and multifunctional public service centers.
