On March 23, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., free trees will be distributed in a drive-through event at the Galena Park Resource and Training Center at 1721 16th Street, Galena Park, Texas. This urban reforestation event is part of SCS’ commitment to planting 1 million trees by 2030. For every unit SCS produces, the company plants 100 trees with One Tree Planted.

The Galena Park tree donation event is spearheaded by Executive Chairperson Jane Stricker, an esteemed leader in the energy transition and the Executive Director of the Greater Houston Partnership’s Houston Energy Transition Initiative (HETI).
